The Polyamorous Affair are an electronic band based in Los Angeles consisting of producer/songwriter Eddie Chacon and Sissy Sainte-Marie. They self-released their first album in 2008. Their follow up release, The Polyamorous Affair, Bolshevik Disco was critically acclaimed by NME, XLR8R, DAZED, YRB, Big Shot, AU and Flux magazines. Their music has been featured on Ugly Betty, Dexter and NCIS Los Angeles. In 2009 they co-headlined Manimal festival in Joshua Tree, California with Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros and Warpaint. In 2010 they contributed, "Putting out Fire", the theme from Cat People for the David Bowie Tribute record on Manimal Vinyl which also features Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Warpaint, Devendra Banhart (Megapuss), and Carla Bruni. In 2010 they relocated to Berlin and released, The Polyamorous Affair, Strange Bedfellows. Their they toured Germany supporting You Say Party. They are known for their deeply eccentric videos and multi-media live shows.
